In , Greg is the leading role. He is a kid just goes to middle school and he feels ready. He uses a diary to write down his feeling about starting middle school and he thinks he should be fine. He wants to be famous and imagines that one day they will make a movie about his life. The first day in middle school, he always to find a way to be famous. But that no use.

When I was young, I also want to be famous. The reason of that is to be a famous person is really cool. We could find them on newspaper, on television. When their parents see them in anywhere, they will be proud of their children.

When I was 10, I saw a 12 years old kid to be famous, then I imagine that when I was 12, I also could be famous. But when I really 12, I have nothing, I am just a wimpy kid. Then I imagine that again and again until I am 20. I still have nothing. I waste too much time to imagine. I did not make efforts, so I would never be famous and my youth can not come back. Never!

But Greg, at the beginning, he sells and hurts his friend. Then he lose his best friend. Then he gets lonely. No one would like to make friends with him. After some fight, he admits mistakes, he become a real brave boy. I think one day he will realized his dream and that day will coming soon.
