About 20 years ago, Hironobu Sakaguchi was working in a small Japanese game company as a game designer. That company was not successful at that time, and one day the company gave Sakaguchi a terrify task: Use all the resources to design our company's last game.If the game successed, the company could keep going,if the game failed, the company would be closed. When people ask him, "What type of game you want to make?" He said:"I don't think I have what it takes to make a good action game. I think I'm better at telling a story." So he decided to design a Role play game. And because they believe this game might be the last game they would made, so they named the game "Final Fantasy".And that game became one of most successful game franchise in the game industry.

About 12 years ago, Hironobu Sakaguchi made the first Final Fantasy movie. He belived this movie could make another miracle which can lead his company "Square" to reach higher level. But he failed. The movie was not successful and the cost of the film nearly destroied the whole company.

In 2001, Sakaguchi left Square and found his own game company named Mistwalker.And you can still feel the Final Fantasy style from his latest game.
